The rich Cassim and poor Alibaba were brothers. Alibaba earned through cutting wood.

One day, he saw 40 thieves opening a rock saying "Open Sesame" and after coming out saying "Close Sesame". When they left, Alibaba did the same and went inside the cave. 

The cave was full of gold, silver, diamonds, valuable fabrics, and treasure chests. He filled the bags with gold and brought them home.

When his brother Cassim came to know about the treasure, he attempted to do the same as Ali did. But he was caught by the robbers and they killed him. 

Alibaba came to the cave and found Cassim's body. He carried him to his house and buried him with the help of Morgiana, the slave. When the thieves came back to the cave, they found the body missing. The chief ordered the thieves to search for the person who knows their secret.

When they found out about Alibaba, the chief disguised himself as an oil merchant and brought thirty-nine robbers inside the oil jars, to Alibaba's house.

But Morgiana found out about the trick. She poured hot oil inside the jars and killed all the thieves.

Seeing Morgiana's dedication, Alibaba freed her from slavery and rewarded her by marrying Morgiana to his son. Alibaba was the only person who knows about the cave and the treasures.
