The Donkey and The Dog Moral Story
A Potter had a donkey and a dog. Every morning, he used to go to the village to sell pots. The donkey has to carry a load. He lived outside the house. The dog guarded the house.
In the evening, the dog used to bark a little and welcome the washerman when he came home. The dog would excitedly lick his master and jump up for attention. The master would feed him.
Watching this, the donkey felt jealous of the dog getting all the attention. So, the donkey decided to act like a dog to receive better treatment from his master.
One evening, when the washerman returned home, the donkey wandered and neighed softly. It ran to him, wagging its tail, and then lifted its front legs to rest on his master.
The master got annoyed. He picked up a long stick and began to hit the donkey. The donkey ran away.
