He said to the soldiers, "Go and tell the King that if it is true that anyone who sees my face in the morning loses their appetite for the day, then anyone who sees the King's face in the morning is destined to lose his life that day. Tell him that if I am Jinxed, so is he and more than me." The King was speechless when he heard Ramaya's message. He ordered to stop the execution immediately. He was ashamed of his ignorance.

The King called Ramaya and offered him a lot of gifts. He also requested Ramaya not to disclose this incident to anyone in the town. After all, the people of Vijayanagar might not like to be ruled by the King, who is Jinxed.
